Real Birds

The first picture is of this bird that I took in Santa Fe, I cropped it to use
the rule of thirds. Other than that I really didn't edit it much so you can see all the
shadows which I like anyway

I really like this picture because it's like a silhouette of a bird. I also like that the sky is kinda cloudy so it adds to the mmld of the picture. 

The last picture is also a silhouette, but this one is of a bird in a tree and I think it looks really cool. I edited it so you could see the greens but that they were still a bit dark.

NIGHT

This weeks blog is all about night as a concept and to me that means light and dark contrasting. The first one is of these Christmas lights and I like that it's out of focus and its contrast.

The next picture I really like. I edited it so that the background would be all black and the only color would be the candle. It's defiantly my favorite on of this blog.

Another part of night is the sunsets that bring the light into the dark. This is what this one is. It's not the most colorful sunset buts it's still really pretty.

Photo Quizzes

On the first quiz I took I'm not exactly sure what my score was but it says I'm a photography pro so I'm going to take that as a good thing. On the second quiz I got 18/22. A lot of the stuff on the quiz i already knew but I learned that every camera is different and therefore every picture is going to be different.

Lonely Tree

All the pictures for this blog are in black and white because 'lonely tree' just sounds really sad so I felt like they all should be black and white. So that's what I did I made all the pictures for this blog black and white and I love the aesthetic of it.

I like this picture because the tree's branches go in so many directions and I think it just adds to the aesthetic of it. Aside from making it black and white I put the most contrast on this picture out of all three.
On the last one I made it black and white again and brought out the shadows of it.

Light

The first one is my least favorite out of all three pictures but I still think its pretty cool. I did put a black and white filter on it but honestly it didn't really need one because it was already pretty much black and white.

I really like how this photo turned out with the sun in the background and the light colored butterfly thing, it just reminds me of light. For this picture I brightened up the whole thing because it was a bit dark at the beginning. 

This is my favorite picture from this blog. I just love the candle with the Christmas lights in the background. It is light. 

People Hard At Work

The first picture is my favorite of all three and it's just a person working at a computer. It was already dark in the room besides the computer screen so I edited it so it literally the only light coming off was from the computer and the door. I think it turned out really cool.

The next picture is of people hard at work doing sports and stuff. I like that the sky is kinda ombre I think I just added more saturation and it did that.

The last one is kind of the same as the one above but what I like about this one is that it's through the fence which I think looks kinda cool.

Transportation

The first photo I really like because I think the sunset in the background is pretty and it also goes well with the theme of cars. For this picture I added more contrast between the background and foreground. 

The next 2 photos are both black and white because they were taken on kind of a cold day and it just felt like they should be. I think they feel a bit moody but I like it.

On this last picture and the one above I put on a black and white filter and added lots of contrast between the darks and lights.
